Mikala Morris Earns 17-Rebound Double-Double
HAMDEN, Conn.– Senior Taylor Herd tied a career high with 21 points and first year Mikala Morris pulled down a career-high 17 rebounds to pace Quinnipiac to a 70-58 victory over Manhattan in Saturday's Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference contest.
Senior Jaden Ward added ten points and seven rebounds in the victory while junior Shaq Edwards returned to action with 15 points, five rebounds, and four assists in the victory.

- The first quarter featured two small offensive runs, one by each team. Manhattan opened the game by scoring five points in the opening two minutes, but Quinnipiac responded with two Herd three-pointers and two free throws by Morris.
- After the teams traded threes and matching two-point baskets, Ward knocked down a free throw with one second remaining to give the Bobcats an 11-10 lead at the end of the period.
- Manhattan opened up the largest lead of the second quarter (5 points) with 1:59 left in the frame after a Lizahya Morgan triple, only to see the Bobcats score eight points in a row over a 50-second span.
- Manhattan's Gabby Cajou knocked down a half-court shot at the buzzer to send the teams to the break knotted at 28.
