Bobcats Come Up Short in 5-2 Loss to Golden Knights Despite Pair of First Period Goals
POTSDAM, N.Y. – Skyler Brind'Amour (Raleigh, North Carolina) and Peter DiLiberatore (Bedford, Nova Scotia) each scored first period goals Saturday night but the Quinnipiac men's ice hockey team came up short at No. 7/8 Clarkson, 5-2.
The Bobcats and Golden Knights combined for five goals in the first period as Brind'Amour scored the game's first goal and DiLiberatore reclaimed the Bobcats' lead with 3:08 to go in the period, 2-1.
