SCORING SUMMARY
First Half
- (23' – Quinnipiac 0, Harvard 1): After a back-and-forth battle in the first 20 minutes, the Crimson scored the first goal of the game. Angela Caloia scored her second of the season after a scramble in Quinnipiac's box. Freshman Meaghan Phillips made a solid save at the top of the box, but Harvard maintain possession after the rebound and found the top left corner of the net after a cross from Sophie Hirst.
- (30' - Quinnipiac 0, Harvard 2): Harvard took advantage of a counter-attack after a Quinnipiac corner. Harvard's Hirst secured the ball on the right flank and dribbled right at Phillips with multiple attackers behind her. Phillips almost recovered the ball back for Quinnipiac, but Hirst crossed to Agnew Murphy inside the six-yard box and she finished first-time to give the Crimson a 2-0 lead.
- (57' - Quinnipiac 0, Harvard 3): Caloia received a diagonal ball from the right flank and flicked the ball in the air to Agnew, who was making a run into the box. Angew controlled the flick and brought her touch down in the box and found the back of the net past Phillips.
- Phillips had a solid night in the net despite the score, recording six saves in between the posts.
- Harvard out-shot Quinnipiac 18 to 5 with nine on target compared to Quinnipiac's two.
- The Bobcats committed 14 fouls, and the Crimson tallied seven.
- This is the first loss for the Bobcats this season and the first win of the season for the Crimson.
