Hamden, Conn. – The Quinnipiac women's soccer team defended its home field, defeating the Yale Bulldogs, 1-0, on Sunday afternoon. With the win, the Bobcats improved to 1-1-1 on the season.

The Bobcats and Bulldogs battled for much of the contest, but Audrey Lefebvre put Quinnipiac on the board in the 80^th minute. Klara Bengtsson sent in the corner and found Lefebvre, who put it in the back of the net for her first collegiate goal.

Quinnipiac held off Yale for the final ten minutes of action to win their first game of the season. The win also marks QU's second-ever win over the Bulldogs and first since the 2021 season.

Audrey Lefebvre netted the first goal of her collegiate career with her strike in the 80^th minute.
Klara Bengtsson recorded her first assist of the season on the Lefebvre goal. Bengtsson leads the Bobcats with three points (one goal, one assist) this year.
Olivia Jarvis recorded four saves in the win, earning her first clean sheet of the season and fourth of her career.
The Bulldogs outshot the Bobcats 9-7, with the shots on goal being 4-3 in favor of Yale.
QU earned seven corners in the win, while Yale earned six.
Quinnipiac improved to 2-11 all-time against the Bulldogs and 2-0 on their home field with the win.
The Bobcats picked up their first win against Yale since the 2021 season (4-0 on August 29^th, 2021).
