EMMITSBURG, MD – The Quinnipiac women's soccer team netted three first-half goals in the first 9:50 to earn a 4-1 win over the Mount St. Mary's Mountaineers on Saturday, September 12^th, giving the Bobcats their first win in conference play.

Just four minutes into the contest, Anna Bean got a pass from Addyson Earl and slotted home her first goal of the season to put the Bobcats in front.

About four minutes later in the contest, Isabella Torelli netted her first goal of the season as Addyson Earl recorded her second assist of the contest. Morgan Cupo picked up the secondary assist on QU's second goal of the contest.

Less than a minute later, Morgan Cupo made it a three-goal game as Addyson Earl found her in the box, recording her third assist of the game.

The Mountaineers netted a goal in the 41^st minute, making it a three-goal game heading into the second half.

The game remained 3-1 Bobcats for much of the second half, but with just under six minutes left in the contest, Morgan Cupo netted her second goal of the game to push QU's lead back to three.

Quinnipiac was able to hold off any attempt for a comeback, as the Bobcats earned their first win in conference play this season, defeating the Mount St. Mary's Mountaineers, 4-1.

Morgan Cupo netted two goals in the contest, giving her seven goals on the season and the twenty-one of her collegiate career. Cupo also picked up an assist in the game, pushing her season points total to 15 points, which leads the team and is good for the conference lead.
Anna Bean and Isabella Torelli both picked up goals in the win over the Mountaineers. Both of their goals were their first of the season.
