Cupo Scores Twice in Win over UAlbany

Albany, New York – The Quinnipiac women's soccer team made it two wins in a row with a 2-1 victory over the UAlbany Great Danes on Saturday evening in Albany, New York.
After 70-plus minutes of scoreless play, Morgan Cupo put the Bobcats in front with her strike in the 73rd minute. Chiara Peiter headed the ball forward, and Cupo fired it home for her second goal of the season.
Just under four minutes later, the Bobcats doubled their lead as Morgan Cupo netted her second goal of the contest, sending home the rebound.
UAlbany got a goal back in the 85th minute as Oluchi Njoku slotted it home on a penalty kick to get the Great Danes within one.
