Three Bobcats Reach Double Figures in Road Loss
NEW HAVEN, Conn. – First-year forward Mikala Morris scored a team-high 17 points but the Quinnipiac women's basketball team came up short in Wednesday night's 63-59 loss to Yale in New Haven.
Senior guard Taylor Herd knocked down four three-pointers and pulled down six rebounds in the loss.
Yale's Roxy Barahman led all scorers with 23 points on 11-20 shooting. The senior also added seven rebounds and four assists in the win.

- Junior Shaq Edwards opened the game with a runner down the lane but Yale ultimately controlled the first quarter, opening up a 17-12 lead after the game's first frame.
- The Bulldogs opened up a 33-22 lead midway through the second quarter before Morris and senior Paige Warfel took control in the final two minutes of the period.
- The duo combined for seven points and four rebounds to end the quarter and bring the Bobcats back within four points at 33-29.
- Quinnipiac continued its run to start the third quarter, resulting in a 16-4 run and a 38-37 lead.
- The teams traded baskets and one-point leads for most of the third quarter, but Yale ended the period on a 9-2 run to take a 53-47 lead into the final quarter of play.
- Edwards pulled the Bobcats within two after a three-pointer and a free throw, but it would be the closest they would get for the remainder of the night.
