Ward Ties Season High in Loss
PRINCETON, N.J. – The Quinnipiac women's basketball team ran into a defensive buzzsaw in Princeton, New Jersey on Saturday evening. Princeton junior forward Bella Alarie, scored 16 points and pulled down 19 rebounds in her first game back from injury. Alarie and the Tigers were too much for the Bobcats, who dropped their second straight contest, 54-42.

- Aryn McClure opened the scoring for the Bobcats with a stepback jumper in the opening minute of play.

- Princeton scored 12 unanswered points over the next 4:30 and opened up the game's largest lead at 42-28.
- The Bobcats were able to get as close as nine points in the fourth quarter, but strong free throw shooting by Princeton prevented any chance of a comeback.
- The Tigers outscored the Bobcats 21-2 from the free throw line. Quinnipiac was 2-4 from the stripe, while the hosts shot 21-17.
- Princeton forced the Bobcats to commit a season-high 21 turnovers on the evening.
