
Men's Soccer Scores Division I Program Record 6 Goals, Defeating Monmouth in Regular-Season Finale

HAMDEN, Conn. – Quinnipiac men's soccer finished the 2018 regular season in impressive fashion on Wednesday afternoon, as five different players scored a goal to help power the Bobcats past Monmouth, 6-0, at the Quinnipiac Soccer Stadium. With the victory, the Bobcats move to 8-1-1 in conference action.
Quinnipiac now awaits the result from tonight's contest between Manhattan and Fairfield from Lessing Field (7:00 PM). A Fairfield victory would mean that the Bobcats begin 2018 MAAC Tournament play as the No. 2 seed, while a Stags tie/loss would give the Bobcats the No. 1 seed heading into postseason play.

- Keeper Jared Mazzola (Kahtonah, N.Y.) earned another shutout for the Bobcats, his fourth clean sheet of the 2018 season.

- Quinnipiac has now appeared in the MAAC Tournament semifinal round in each of the last three years. The Bobcats have qualified for the postseason in each of the last seven years, and eight of the last 11.
- The Bobcats have won eight MAAC contests in two of the last three years, going 22-7-1 in league play in that span.
