Five Players Score in Double Figures as QU Women's Basketball Tops Niagara at Home, 77-61

HAMDEN, Connecticut - Five players scored in double-figures with Paula Strautmane leading the way with a season-high 20 points as the Quinnipiac women's basketball team defeated the Niagara Purple Eagles, 77-61, on Thursday evening at the TD Bank Sports Center.
The win was Quinnipiac's fourth in a row as the Bobcats move to 3-0 in MAAC play with a win before traveling to take on Iona on Saturday at 1 p.m. Taylor Herd scored a career-high 16 points, Carly Fabbri totaled 10 points and seven assists and Jen Fay and Aryn McClure each tallied a double-double in the victory.
