SENIOR DAY
Quinnipiac men's lacrosse will honor its four seniors prior to the Marist contest for their final collegiate home game: goalkeeper Jack Brust, attack Drew D'Antonio, midfielder Kevin Diehl and attack Zach Malsky. Brust has been with the program for five seasons after taking one redshirt season.
LAST GAME (Quinnipiac 12, Manhattan 6)
Brian Feldman had four goals and one assist to go over the 100-point plateau for his career to lead Quinnipiac to a 12-6 road win over Manhattan. Freshman Tyler DeVito made his first start and had two goals and an assist for his first three collegiate points, including a goal and an assist in the first two minutes. His goal got the Bobcats started and then he fed Feldman for his 100th career point. Manhattan closed to within 4-3 in the second quarter, but junior Ryan Corcoran stopped the run with an unassisted goal and junior defender Riley Palmer scored off the next face-off to make the score 6-3 at the break. DeVito's second goal made the score 8-4 in the third quarter, starting a 5-2 run to close out the win. Quinnipiac dominated the game, outshooting Manhattan 54-22, including 33-8 in the first half, as junior Will Vitelli won 17 of 22 face-offs to help the Bobcats control possession. Senior goalie Jack Brust had seven saves for the Bobcats.
THAT TIME OF YEAR
Quinnipiac's win over Manhattan on Saturday, April 1 continued an impressive trend recently of the Bobcats closing seasons strong. Dating back to a 15-10 win over Air Force on April 30, 2014, Quinnipiac has won its last 12 games in April, including a perfect 5-0 in both the 2015 and 2016 campaigns.
LAST YEAR vs. MARIST
The Bobcats had two huge wins over Marist last season, winning 8-7 on the road in the regular season and 13-9 in the MAAC Finals to earn their first-ever trip to the NCAA Division I Tournament. In the regular season, Quinnipiac trailed 5-1 after three quarters, but came back to tie it with three seconds left in regulation on a goal from Ryan Keenan and then win it in overtime with one second on the clock on a goal from Anthony Carchietta. Drew D'Antonio had four goals to lead the Quinnipiac offense in the MAAC title game, while Jack Brust had 13 saves to earn Most Outstanding Player Honors.
DeVITO NAMED MAAC ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Freshman attack Tyler DeVito made his first start of the season against Manhattan on Saturday and had two goals and assist for his first three collegiate points. That performance earned him the MAAC Rookie of the Week Award, the second weekly honor for the Bobcats this season. Junior Anthony Carchietta was named the MAAC Offensive Player of the Week on March 13, after tallying a combined four goals and three assists in games against Princeton and Hartford.
MILESTONES FOR FELDMAN
Junior Brian Feldman became the 13th player to reach 100 career points in Quinnipiac history when he scored an early goal against Manhattan on Saturday. He ended the game with 104 points (91 goals, 13 assists) and is now nine goals away from becoming the fourth Bobcat to reach the 100 mark in that category.
FELDMAN'S GOAL STREAK REACHES 18
Entering the weekend, Brian Feldman has a streak of 18 straight games with at least one goal, dating back to being held scoreless by Marquette last spring, which puts him in fifth on the active list nationally. Only eight players in the country currently have a goal scoring streak of 10 or more, led by Dylan Molloy of Brown with 34 in a row.

Junior attack Brian Feldman is well ahead of pace to become only the fourth player in school history to record 100 career goals and the first to do it in the last 15 years. Feldman had 29 goals as a freshman and 36 last season, putting him in eighth on the single-season list, and his quick start to this season (26 goals in eight games) has him up into fifth on the career list in only his junior season with 91. He also has 13 career assists, giving him 104 points, making him only the 13th player in school history to reach 100 career points.

DEE-FENSE
After struggling a bit on defense in the early part of the season, the Bobcats have made some adjustment and have been much improved over the last few games. In the three games since senior goalie Jack Brust returned from injury, Quinnipiac has allowed only 7.3 goals per game (eight against Monmouth and Detroit, six against Manhattan). In the five games prior (including two against nationally ranked teams), the Bobcats were allowing 15.0 goals per game. Juniors Riley Palmer and Mike Ruane and sophomore Bryce Nalls have gelled as the team's close defense, while junior long-stick midfielder Adam Bellamy, and short-stick defensive midfielders Joe Murphy, David Glynn and Alex DiSalvo have been key contributors as well.
CORCORAN JOINS HAT TRICK CLUB
Junior midfielder Ryan Corcoran scored three goals against NJIT on March 4, registering his first career hat trick, He is now one of five players on the Bobcats who have scored three goals in a game, led by 15 from Brian Feldman. Matt Frost had three goals in his second collegiate game at NJIT last year, while Foster Cuomo and Drew D'Antonio both achieved the feat for the first time in the MAAC Tournament last year, with Cuomo tallying four goals in the semifinals against Canisius and D'Antonio scoring four times in the championship game victory against Marist.
WHERE THERE'S A WILL
Junior face-off specialist Will Vitelli had another in his long list of outstanding performances in Saturday's win at Manhattan, winning 17 of 22 face-offs on the day. It was the sixth time in the last two seasons that he has won 75 percent or more of his face-offs, including a perfect 19-19 at Marist last year, which earned him the StringKing National Player of the Week Award.

CARCHIETTA NAMED MAAC OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF WEEK
Junior midfielder Anthony Carchietta was named the MAAC Offensive Player of the Week on March 13, earning his first career honor from the league. Carchietta had three goals and four assists in two games, tallying one goal and two assists at No. 19 Princeton and then adding two goals and two assists against Hartford. He had a big role in a near-comeback for the Bobcats, capping off a 4-0 run with the tying goal and go-ahead assist to put Quinnipiac ahead 9-8 with just over four minutes left, before the Hawks scored the final three goals for the win.

Sophomore Foster Cuomo pretty much duplicated his own memorable goal from last year's MAAC Championship game in a March 7 game at Princeton. Last year's blind over-the-shoulder shot earned him a spot on SportsCenter's Top 10 as the Bobcats defeated Marist 13-9 to earn their first MAAC Championship. From almost the same place on the field, Cuomo pulled off the same shot against Princeton in the final minute of the fourth quarter, which earned him a spot (No. 5) on NCAA.com's Top 10 Plays of the Week. .
TRI-CAPTAINS IN 2017
Quinnipiac will have tri-captains for the 2017 season. Senior Jack Brust and Kevin Diehl have been captains since the fall season, while fellow senior Drew D'Antonio added captain duties for the spring. They are expected to be the only three seniors that the Bobcats lose after this season (attack Zach Malsky is also a senior, but has a redshirt year available if he chooses to use it).
CUOMO SHARES MAAC PRESEASON PLAYER OF YEAR
Sophomore midfielder Foster Cuomo was named the 2017 MAAC Preseason Co-Player of the Year in a vote of the league's coaches. Cuomo was a second-team All-MAAC midfielder last year, but closed the season playing his best lacrosse under pressure, scoring 11 of his 22 goals in the postseason after the all-conference teams were picked. The Bobcats were a unanimous pick to repeat as league champions.
