In the four games since senior goalie Jack Brust returned from injury, Quinnipiac has allowed only 8.0 goals per game and kept its opponents to 10 goals or less every time (eight against Monmouth and Detroit, six against Manhattan, nine against Marist, 10 against Siena). In the five games prior (including two against nationally ranked teams), the Bobcats were allowing 15.0 goals per game. Juniors Riley Palmer and Mike Ruane and sophomore Bryce Nalls have gelled as the team's close defense, while junior long-stick midfielder Adam Bellamy, and short-stick defensive midfielders Joe Murphy, David Glynn and Alex DiSalvo have been key contributors as well.
