HAMDEN, Conn. - The Quinnipiac men's soccer team completed a second-half comeback to earn its fourth MAAC win of the season after defeating conference-rival Marist, 3-2, in double-overtime Saturday afternoon at the QU Soccer Stadium on Senior Day.

NOTES

Quinnipiac outshot Marist 25-14 and 13-3 in shots-on-goal.
Jeppe Haehre (Baerums Verk, Norway) and Simon Hillinger (Ditzingen, Germany) both scored in the contest, with Hillinger tallying two goals.
Quinnipiac got on the board first after Haehre put one in the back of the net in the second minute of the game.
After Max Rothenbuecher (Munich, Germany) sent a ball into the box on a free kick, Haehre out-jumped the defender and got a head on the ball and scored the goal.
The goal was Haehre's first of the season.
The assist was Rothenbuecher's third of the season.
Marist would tally two straight goals before Quinnipiac would score again.
The Bobcats tied the contest in the 83rd minute after Hillinger scored his first career goal.
Marist tried to clear the ball and flip the field but the ball deflected off the referee. Oscar Evans (Christchurch, New Zealand) collected the ball, tap-passed it back to Hillinger, who drilled the goal to tie the contest.
The assist was the first of the season for Evans.
Hillinger scored the golden-goal at 104:11 in double-overtime to win the game.
Rashawn Dally (Bloomfield, Connecticut) brought the ball up wide and fed Taylor, who dribbled towards the box and fed Hillinger, who made a move on two defenders in the box then tapped the ball into the goal for the game-winner.
The goal was Hillinger's second of the contest and season.
The assist was the second of the season for both Taylor and Dally.
Chrysostomos Iakovidis (Thessaloniki, Greece) recorded one save in the contest.
It was also the 13th-straight game where Iakovidis has held the opponent to two goals or less.
The win was the 35th of captain James Doig's (Liverpool, England) career, which is the most wins by a player in program-history.
