The Quinnipiac women's soccer team heads into the final game of the regular season at Canisius on Saturday (1 PM) with plenty of MAAC Tournament seeding scenarios abound as the Bobcats potentially could finish anywhere from seed 3-6 depending on the full day of results. A win would greatly improve the Bobcats' chances as Quinnipiac heads into its Saturday contest with Canisius having won the last three games in the series with the Golden Griffins by identical 3-0 scores. The most-recent game between the two sides was a memorable one for Quinnipiac as the Bobcats won 3-0 in the MAAC Quarterfinals, in what was the final game played at the QU Soccer Field.
LAST GAME RECAP (QU 1, MAN 1)
Needing a result to better their chances at a first round bye in the upcoming MAAC Tournament, Quinnipiac earned one point with a 1-1 draw against Manhattan on Wednesday afternoon in the final game played the Quinnipiac Soccer Stadium for the season. Ally Grunstein netted the lone Bobcat goal as Quinnipiac finished up their first season of play at the newly constructed Quinnipiac Soccer Stadium with a 4-2-2 mark in eight home matches on the year.
AL'S HONOR
Junior forward Al Pelletier's three-goal week earned her MAAC Offensive Player of the Week honors, as announced by the league office on Monday. Pelletier's three goals in two games last week led all MAAC players while earned her the first MAAC weekly award of her three-year career. Pelletier becomes the second Bobcat to earn Offensive Player of the Week honors as she joins Nadya Gill who earned the same award back on Aug. 21 in the first week of the 2017 season. Quinnipiac joins Niagara (three) and Monmouth (two) as the only three teams in the league to earn the honor more than once this season.

- Quinnipiac has struggled in games in which the opposition scores first as their most-recent loss at Iona last Wednesday moved their record to 1-6 in games wherein the opposition scores first
- Quinnipiac's scoring depth has played a key role in the team's success as the Bobcats currently have five players all with at least 11 points on the season, no other team in the MAAC has more than two players with double digit point totals
- In addition, the Bobcats have five players with at least four goals on the season, no other team in the MAAC has more than two players with at least three goals in 2017
- Despite being shown a red card in the 12th minute (the first for the Bobcats since 2014), the ensuing missed penalty kick proved to be a landmark moment in the match as Quinnipiac went on to dominate the score 3-0 and shot total (15-9) following the red card in the team's 4-0 triumph over Niagara on Saturday

- Carly Glaser added another game-winning goal to her resume as the senior's first career tally was also the game-winner last season in a 3-0 home win over Marist
