Cupo Named Metro Conference Offensive Player of the Week

HAMDEN, Conn. – Quinnipiac women's soccer forward Morgan Cupo was named the Metro Conference Offensive Player of the Week, as announced by the league office on Monday, August 31st.
Morgan Cupo was dominant for the Bobcats in their 2-1 win over the UAlbany Great Danes on Saturday, August 29th. Cupo broke the scoreless tie in the 73rd minute and then, just four minutes later, doubled the Bobcats' lead with the eventual game-winning goal. With her two-goal performance, Cupo sits at 17 goals for her collegiate career and 38 total points.
Cupo and the Bobcats are back in action this Saturday, September 5th as they begin conference play against the Niagara Purple Eagles. Kickoff from the Quinnipiac Soccer & Lacrosse Stadium is slated for noon and can be seen on GoBobcats.com.
