After falling to MAAC-rival Iona, 1-0, at home, the Quinnipiac men's soccer team will look to earn its third MAAC win of the season when it travels to take on Manhattan on Saturday at Gaelic Park at 6 PM.

- Dally scored the Bobcats third goal of the game in the 88th minute after Doig won a jump-ball then kicked it to Dally who streaked up the field and hit far post before the ball deflected into the back of the net.

- With the win, Doig passed former goalkeeper Borja Angoitia for most wins by a Quinnipiac player in program-history with 33 victories.

- Midfielder Matthew Taylor (Dublin, Ireland) scored the Bobcats' first goal of the season in the fourth minute, on a goal assisted from a through pass sent by Doig and forward Rashawn Dally (Bloomfield, CT).

- Eamon Whelan (New Fairfield, Connecticut) headlines the returning class for Quinnipiac as he was selected to the 2017 Preseason All-MAAC Team following a 2016 campaign that saw him tally a team-high 11 goals.
- Whelan had a big impact last year as a freshman, winning the MAAC Rookie of the Year Award. He was also a Third-Team All-Northeast Region selection by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America and was named to Top Drawer Soccer's Top 100 Freshmen list.
