After falling to MAAC-rival Iona, 1-0, at home, the Quinnipiac men's soccer team will look to earn its third MAAC win of the season when it travels to take on Manhattan on Saturday at Gaelic Park at 6 PM.

Manhattan comes into the contest with a 7-5 record after falling to Rider, 1-0, in overtime.
Manhattan has is off to a 4-1 start after the first five MAAC contests.
The Jaspers are led by Lucas Da Silva, who leads the team with five goals on the season.
The last time Quinnipiac took on Manhattan, the Bobcats defeated the Jaspers, 4-0, at home.
Eamon Whelan (New Fairfield, Connecticut) tallied two goals in the win. William Pustari (North Haven, Connecticut) chipped in a goal as well.
In Quinnipiac's last contest it fell to Iona, 1-0, on Wednesday, Oct. 11, to drop to 2-3 in MAAC play.
Chrysostomos Iakovidis (Thessaloniki, Greece) recorded two saves in the contest.
It was the ninth time in 11 games where Iakovidis has held the opponent to one goal or less.
It was also the 11th-straight game where Iakovidis has held the opponent to two goals or less.
Matthew Taylor (Dublin, Ireland), William Pustari (North Haven, Connecticut) and Rashawn Dally (Bloomfield, Connecticut) all scored a goal apiece in the contest.
The first goal of the game came in the 15th minute after Max Rothenbuecher (Munich, Germany) had a shot saved, but Taylor came in and scored on the rebound.
The goal was Taylor's second of the season and the assist was the second of the season for Rothenbuecher.
Quinnipiac's second goal of the game came off the foot of Pustari after the Canisius goalie attempted to the clear the ball out of the box but it was deflected Pustari recovered it and buried the goal in the back of the net.
The goal was Pustari's first of the season.
Dally scored the Bobcats third goal of the game in the 88th minute after Doig won a jump-ball then kicked it to Dally who streaked up the field and hit far post before the ball deflected into the back of the net.
The goal was Dally's first of the season and it was the second assist of the season for Doig.
With the win, Doig passed former goalkeeper Borja Angoitia for most wins by a Quinnipiac player in program-history with 33 victories.
Iakovidis needed to make just one save on the afternoon to earn his third shutout of the season.
The shutout was the 10th of the sophomore's career.
Quinnipiac earned its first MAAC win of the season against Niagara on Saturday, Sept. 30, with a 2-0 victory.
The Bobcats took a 1-0 lead after Max Rothenbuecher (Munich, Germany) scored on a free kick in the 10th minute.
Doig followed with his first goal of the season in the 27th minute.
Doig and Rothenbuecher lined up for a free kick and Rothenbuecher faked the shot, tapped it to Doig, who then drilled the shot to the far post.
Quinnipiac's win over Niagara was the 32nd of Doig's career, which ties him with former goalkeeper Borja Angoitia for most wins by a Quinnipiac player in program-history.
Goalkeeper Chrysostomos Iakovidis (Thessaloniki, Greece) had four saves in the shutout win over Niagara.
The shutout was the second of the season for Iakovidis and ninth of the sophomore's career.
Iakovidis posted a shutout against Saint Joseph's, only needing to make one save on one shot-on-goal.

Freshman Griffin Scaglia (Glastonbury, Connecticut) made his collegiate debut in the Bobcats' loss against New Hampshire on Sept. 23.
The Quinnipiac men's soccer team finished its inaugural home game in fitting fashion as they earned their first win on the season over St. Joseph's University, 1-0, in its newly renovated QU Soccer Stadium on Saturday, September 2.
Midfielder Matthew Taylor (Dublin, Ireland) scored the Bobcats' first goal of the season in the fourth minute, on a goal assisted from a through pass sent by Doig and forward Rashawn Dally (Bloomfield, CT).
Taylor's goal was the seventh of his career and second game-winner of his career.
Freshmen Simon Hillinger (Ditzingen, Germany) and Paulo Soares (Quincy, Massachusetts) both made their collegiate debuts with the Bobcats in Quinnipiac's loss against B.C. on Aug. 28.
Eamon Whelan (New Fairfield, Connecticut) headlines the returning class for Quinnipiac as he was selected to the 2017 Preseason All-MAAC Team following a 2016 campaign that saw him tally a team-high 11 goals.
Whelan had a big impact last year as a freshman, winning the MAAC Rookie of the Year Award. He was also a Third-Team All-Northeast Region selection by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America and was named to Top Drawer Soccer's Top 100 Freshmen list.
