Last Meeting: QU 3, ION 2 (Oct. 12, 2016 @ QU)
GAME LINKS Fresh off a needed bye week, the Quinnipiac women's soccer team returns to action on Wednesday as the Bobcats head to Iona for a 3:00 PM start in a game that can be seen on ESPN3. Since joining the MAAC, these two sides have shared a fierce rivalry as three of the four meetings have gone into overtime and all four games have been decided by just one goal. Last year's duel saw the Bobcats open up a 3-0 lead before allowing a pair and managing to hold off the Gaels late for the 3-2 win in Hamden.
LAST GAME RECAP (QU 1, RID 1)
Quinnipiac held a 1-0 lead for more than 80 minutes of play before Rider's Sam Picinich equalized in the 85th minute as the Bobcats played to a 1-1 draw with the Broncs last Wednesday afternoon from the Quinnipiac Soccer Stadium. Picinich's late equalizer wiped away Nadya Gill's (Toronto, Ontario) stunning goal to open as the junior fired home her 10th tally of the season just 3:59 into play to account for the Quinnipiac goal.
