Quinnipiac Athletics to Host Annual Awards Banquet on Sunday, May 8 at 5 PM

The Quinnipiac University Department of Athletics & Recreation will host its annual Athletic Awards Reception on Sunday, May 8, 2016 at 5 PM at the TD Bank Sports Center in Hamden, Conn. The annual event will honor each athletic program's Most Valuable Player award.
In addition to each program's MVP, Quinnipiac Athletics will also announced the Male and Female Athletes of the Year as well as the department's scholar-athletes by class and the Positive Play Award as well as awards for Recreation/Fitness Center and Intramurals.Senior Associate Athletic Director Bill Mecca and AM 1220 WQUN's Bill Schweizer will serve as the events' masters of ceremonies while Director of Athletics & Recreation Greg Amodio will deliver the opening remarks. The invocation will be given by Athletes InterVarsity's Christina Barbaro.
The event is open to the public. Those who wish to attend should contact Connie Mancini at 203-582-5388 or by emailing her at connie.mancini@quinnipiac.edu. Admission for the general public - payable at the event - is $10 for adults and $5 for Seniors and children under 12.
