Patrick Kraemer was promoted to Assistant Director of Athletic Communications in February of 2024. He was a Graduate Assistant of Athletic Communications from August 2022 to February 2024. Kraemer also worked as a student worker with the Athletic Communications office from September 2018 to May 2022 as he pursued his Bachelor of Science in Business Management with a minor in sports studies.
Kraemer currently serves as the primary contact for Women’s Basketball, Women’s Soccer, Women’s Volleyball, Women’s Golf, and Baseball. Kraemer oversees the teams’ social media accounts and updates the website with various stories. Kraemer assists in the video production of Quinnipiac’s various home events throughout the year.
Prior to his time as a Graduate Assistant, Kraemer worked as a work-study student at Quinnipiac University. During his time as a student at Quinnipiac, Kraemer has volunteered at numerous tournaments, including the 2019 NCAA Women’s Ice Hockey Frozen Four in Hamden, CT and the 2019 Big East Field Hockey Championships where he inputted live stats. He also volunteered and computed statistics at the ECAC Men’s Hockey Championship Weekend (2022-2023) in Lake Placid, NY, a 2021 NCAA Men’s Hockey Regional in Albany, NY, and the CIAC Boy’s Hockey Championships at M&T Bank Arena (2022-2023).
The Long Island native graduated from Quinnipiac University in 2022 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management degree. He is currently working toward a Master’s Degree in Business Analytics.
Kraemer has worked with the West Haven Twilight League, broadcasting the games to the league’s Facebook channel, and inputting the statistics into the GameChanger app from March 2022 to August 2024.Kraemer is a Merrick, New York native, and currently resides in New Haven, Connecticut.
