- Finished her dynamic freshman campaign tied for second on the team in scoring (300), second in rebounding (203), first in offensive rebounds (94), third in assists (63), second in blocks (49), first in field goal percentage (48.3), first in three-point percentage (45.7) and fourth in free throw percentage (71.4)
- Compiled the second-most MAAC Rookie of the Week awards behind her freshman classmate Aryn McClure (four)
- After not reaching double figures for the first 12 games of her career, Strautmane scored 10+ points in 14 of the last 22 games of the season
- During the 19-game win streak, Strautmane led the Bobcats in scoring while improving her numbers across the board: 11.1 PPG (48.2 FG%, 50 3FG%, 75.5 FT%), 6.5 RPG, 2.3 APG, 1.3 BPG and 1.3 SPG while playing just 23.2 MPG
- An even more telling figure is she scored just 29 points (2.9 PPG) in the first 10 games of the season and after which she scored a team-leading 271 points (11.3 PPG) while shooting 106-of-205 (51.7 FG%) from the floor while seeing 23.7 MPG (much improved from 15.5 MPG in the first 10 games of 2015-16)
- In 20 MAAC games, Strautmane ranked top five among freshmen in the conference in several statistical categories: 9.7 PPG (4th MAAC), 6.2 RPG (2nd MAAC), 2.2 APG (3rd MAAC), 1.4 BPG (2nd MAAC) and 46.8 FG% (2nd MAAC)
- Her production also peaked down the stretch as she averaged 12.8 PPG (59.5 FG%), 7.3 RPG and 2.8 APG in four combined games down the stretch against the No. 2-4 seeds in the MAAC
- Across three MAAC Tournament games, she averaged 11.0 points, 6.0 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 2.0 steals and 1.7 blocks in 26 minutes per game
- She broke out with an unbelievable two-game run in the WNIT as she averaged 20 points while shooting a ridiculous 19-for-22 (86.4 percent) from the floor with nine rebounds and three blocks in just 21 minutes per game
- Her breakout game of the season came in the WNIT First Round in a home win over Maine (March 18) as was perfect from the floor, going 10-for-10 for the game on her way to 21 points to go along with 10 rebounds and three blocks in just 21 minutes of action
- Appearing in her first national postseason tournament game, she set a single-game program record for most made field goals in a game (10) without a miss
- She followed that up with another Herculean effort with 19 points (9-12 FG), eight rebounds, three blocks and two assists as she fouled out after having played just 21 minutes in the WNIT Second Round against Temple (March 20)
- Started her career grabbing 10 rebounds (five offensive) in just 19 minutes at Army West Point (Nov. 15) as she became the first player in the program’s Div. I history to grab at least 10 rebounds in their first career game
- Picked up 10 points, five rebounds and three assists in just 21 minutes in a home win over Canisius (Jan. 8)
- Broke out with a 16-point effort (7-12 FG) to go along with seven rebounds as she and Aryn McClure combined to either score or assist on 24 of the final 26 points for the Bobcats in a tight road win at Canisius (Jan. 17)
- Scored 18 points (5-10 FG, 7-8 FT) while grabbing eight rebounds (five offensive) and two assists in just 16 minutes in a home win over Siena (Jan. 24)
- Notched her first career double-double with 14 points, 10 rebounds and two assists in a win over Monmouth (Jan. 28)
- Went for 12 points (5-10 FG), eight rebounds (five offensive) and three blocks in a win over St. Peter’s (Feb. 2)
- Tallied a solid all-around performance with 18 points (4-6 FG, 9-10 FT) with eight rebounds (five offensive), three assists, three steals and two blocks 30 minutes in a road win at Siena (Feb. 5)
- Was stellar at home in a win over Iona (Feb. 12) as she tallied 14 points (6-9 FG), eight rebounds (seven offensive), season high five assists and three steals in a season high 35 minutes
- Notched 17 points (8-15 FG) with four rebounds and two assists in a big home victory over Marist (Feb. 18)
- Scored 11 points (5-7 FG) in just 19 minutes while adding two steals and two blocks in a road win over Manhattan (Feb. 23)
- Picked up another double-double with 12 points (5-7 FG), 10 rebounds, three assists and two blocks in 24 minutes as she helped lift the Bobcats to a victory at Iona (Feb. 28) to earn the MAAC Regular Season title
- Opened the MAAC Tournament with 18 points (8-13 FG) in the Quarterfinal victory over Niagara (March 4)
- Went for 11 points, eight rebounds, four steals and two blocks in 25 minutes in the MAAC Semifinal win over Monmouth (March 6)
- Suffered an ankle injury in the MAAC Championship against Iona (March 7) that limited her to four points, six rebounds, three assists and three blocks in 29 minutes
- Strautmane comes to America after starring for the junior Latvian National Teams throughout her entire career
- She has experience playing for the Latvian U16, U18 and U20 National Teams at the European Championships
- Playing for the U20 National Team for the first time in the summer of 2015, Strautmane averaged 10.8 points, 6.4 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.0 steals in 27.4 minutes per game throughout Latvia’s nine-game run at the 2015 U20 European Championships
- Ranked 5th overall the 2015 U20 Euro Championships in free throw percentage (81.8), 7th in free throws made per game (3.0) and 9th in field goal percentage (41.8)
- Later in the summer of 2015, Strautmane led the Latvia U18 National Team to a runner-up finish at the 2015 FIBA U18 Division B Championships
- Strautmane averaged 10.9 points on 48.7 percent shooting from the floor with 7.1 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 1.7 steals in 25.3 minutes per game across the eight-game run
- In 2014, Strautmane flashed all-around ability with averages of 9.9 points (45.8 FG%), 10.4 rebounds, 2.7 assists, 1.4 blocks and 1.1 steals per game at the U18 European Championships
- She led Latvia to a 4-3 record at the 2014 U18 Championships while ranking 5th among all players in blocked shots, 2nd in offensive rebounds (5.4), 7th in total rebounds and 10th in field goal percentage
- At the U16 Euro Championships in 2013, Strautmane showcased similar ability with a stat line of 11.2 points (48.8 FG%), 8.8 rebounds, 3.6 assists, 1.3 steals and 0.8 blocks per game
- She continued to rank as one of the best all-around players at the 2013 U16 Euro Championships, sitting 5th in field goal percentage, 3rd in assists, 6th in defensive rebounds (6.8) and 10th in total rebounds
- For the majority of her career, Strautmane played with the club team TTT Riga based in Latvia
- In the 2014 season, Strautmane posted a line of 10.5 points, 7.9 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 2.0 steals in 28 minutes across 21 games
