As a First Year in 2023-24
- Posted 7.9 PPG & 2.8 RPG over 24 contests for the Bobcats
- Shot 36-of-97 (37.1%) from 3-point distance
- Recorded 10+ points in eight separate games
- Posted season-best 18 points twice – on 11/10/23 vs. CCSU, and on 2/8/24 vs. Saint Peter’s
- Vavers – a 6-foot-7 wing – established himself as one of the area's top perimeter shooters while at Archibishop Carroll High School under coach Mike Powell.
- He posted an impressive 14.1 points and 4.1 rebounds per game as a junior in 2021-22, shooting 48.0% from the floor over 27 games. He earned Second Team All-WCAC status for his efforts.
- Vavers is currently spending his graduate season with The Skill Factory (TSF) program. He also spent time on the AAU circuit with Team Thrill out of Baltimore, where he won a UAA circuit championship this past summer.
- The Latvia-native played for the country's U18 & U19 National Teams, as well.
