HAMDEN, Conn. – The Quinnipiac men's basketball program and Head Coach Tom Pecora announced today (Monday, May 4, 2026) the signing of transfer forward Holden Pierre-Louis.
Pierre-Louis, a 6-foot-8 physical big man, will join the Bobcats as a junior in 2026-27. He spent his freshman season at Temple and his sophomore campaign at Cleveland State.
"We are thrilled to welcome Holden Pierre-Louis to the Bobcat family," said Quinnipiac Head Coach Tom Pecora. "As a 6-foot-8 physical big man, he brings the kind of toughness and presence in the paint that we need to compete at a high level. His experience will be a massive asset to our frontcourt rotation as he enters his junior year, and we expect him to make an immediate impact on our program."
The addition brings a wealth of Division I experience to Hamden, as Pierre-Louis is expected to provide an immediate physical presence in the paint. He averaged 3.3 points, 2.7 rebounds and 1.0 assists per game last season at Cleveland State, playing in 30 total contests for the Vikings.
Pierre-Louis registered a 10-point, 7-rebound performance against Waynesburg on 11/25/25, and also posted a 12-point, 6-rebound night against Milwaukee on 12/21/25. He finished the season with five different games of 5+ rebounds.
Pierre-Louis also played in three games during his first collegiate campaign at Temple during 2024-25.
During his high school days, the Bobcats' newest addition to the frontcourt helped lead St. Episcopal to consecutive 20-win seasons over his final two years. He set the Lions single-season blocks record as a senior, and was also an Honor Roll student-athlete.
Pierre-Louis marks the sixth addition to the Bobcats' roster heading into 2026-27. The Bobcats have also added Malik Fields, Tayeshawn Cunningham-Pemberton, Nas Hart, Lucas Sekasi and Ali Diouf.
