QU Drops Matchup vs. Fairfield

HAMDEN, Conn. – Quinnipiac men's basketball dropped a MAAC contest on Sunday against Fairfield by the final score of 85-79 from M&T Bank Arena. The Bobcats move to 11-7 in league play with the result.
Jaden Zimmerman led Quinnipiac with 20 points on 7-of-18 shooting. He knocked down four 3-pointers in the contest.
Asim Jones chipped in with 16 points and seven assists. Amarri Monroe added 14 points, five rebounds and three steals.
Five different Fairfield players reached double figure scoring totals, led by 21 from Braden Sparks. The Stags took the lead when Duece Turner knocked down four consecutive free throws with 6:53 remaining. Fairfield finished on a 19-14 run from that point to earn the road win.
