- Lewis competed at Laramie County Community College (Wyoming) in 2021-22, averaging 14.0 PPG, 7.0 APG and 4.5 RPG for the eventual regular-season conference champions. He sat out the second half of the season at Laramie before transferring to Delaware State.
- Prior to Laramie, Lewis attended Cochise College (Arizona) during the 2019-20 campaign.
