BUFFALO, NY – Quinnipiac men's basketball earned a road win in its final contest of the regular season, defeating Canisius by the final score of 67-63 on Sunday.
Asim Jones led the Bobcats with 27 points, 23 of which came during the second half. He went 8-of-15 from the floor over the final 20 minutes of action.
Keith McKnight chipped in with a career-high 22 points. The first-year forward also grabbed nine rebounds in the win.
Quinnipiac shot 44.4% (12-27) during the second half of action, making all five 3-pointers over the final 20 minutes.
The Bobcats outscored the Golden Griffins 16-7 over the last 5:16 of play.
With the result, the Bobcats will be the #4 seed in the upcoming 2026 Air Force Reserve MAAC Men's Basketball Championship. #4 Quinnipiac will take on #5 Marist in the quarterfinal round on Saturday, March 7 at 6:00 PM from Jim Whelan Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City.
