Choma Helps Power Bobcats Dominant Win vs. Rider

HAMDEN, Conn. — The Quinnipiac women's lacrosse team rolled past Rider on Wednesday afternoon, taking down the Broncs by a 19-6 final.
The host Bobcats rolled out of the gates by scoring 10 of the first 12 goals of the contest, led by a five-point half from sophomore attacker Peyton Choma.
Quinnipiac continued to roll in the second half, scoring the first five of the third to assume control and start the running clock for the rest of the contest.
Kendall VanMeveren and Maggie Kennedy each found the net for the first time this season to highlight the second-half goal-scoring.
Shannon Alden made eight saves on 14 shots on her cage before Maddy Ward relieved her for the final 4:40.

- Bendowski climbs to within five points of the single-season program record with a five-point day totaling a goal and four assists.
- Choma's five-point day continues her hot streak, as she has nine over her last two outings and 15 since March 25.
- Emma Miller-Ayala and Mia Delmond also potted hat tricks as part of four-point days.
- Quinnipiac featured 12 different goal scorers, led by Choma, Delmond and Miller-Ayala's three each.
- The 29 points and 19 goals were both season-highs for the Bobcats.
