The games were originally scheduled for Wednesday, Mar. 11, but were moved up a day to avoid potential weather conditions.

SCOUTING BU
- The Terriers enter the weekend on a five-game win streak. Their season is highlighted by two wins against Duke who is ranked in the top 25.
- First-year Irys Kline leads the team with a 0.364 BA (24-for-66) and 1.011 OPS. Kline has recorded six doubles, a triple, a homerun, and 14 RBIs.
- Kasey Ricard earned Patriot League Pitcher of the Week honors after going 3-0 with a 0.00 ERA, striking out 12 batters over 18.1 innings against Yale and New Haven.
BOBCAT BREAKDOWN
- The Bobcats completed their first MAAC sweep of the season over Saint Peter's this past weekend.
- Sofia Vega led the team going 5-for-10 with a double and home run. Vega is currently batting 0.417 with a 1.030 OPS and eight RBIs.
- Kennedy Demott posts a 0.400 batting average with a team-high four doubles, seven walks, and 1.147 OPS.
- Riley Potter made a huge impact in game three against the Peacocks with a grand slam, her first of the season.
- First-year pitcher Laney Adie threw the first complete game of her collegiate career, delivering five shutout innings while allowing just four hits and recording three strikeouts.
MAAC PRESEASON
- The Quinnipiac Softball team was voted to 7th in the MAAC Preseason Poll after last season ended in the MAAC opening round against the Rider Broncs.
- Senior outfielder Mary Fogg was named to the Preseason All-MAAC Team.
- Fogg started 38 games and led the team in batting average (.333), hits (40), and multi-hit performances (9), while also being named Second Team All-MAAC.
2026 CAPTAINS
- Head coach Hillary Smith named seniors Natalia Apatiga, Kennedy DeMott, and Sofia Vega captains for the 2026 season.
- All three ranked among the Bobcats' top five hitters last season.
WELCOME TO THE sQUad
- Quinnipiac welcomes six new faces to the 2026 roster.
- The Bobcats add sophomore transfer Caelin Kosvitch (Iona), while the first-year class features Connecticut native Griffin Paladino (Fairfield), along with Kinsley Cox (Murrieta, CA), Laney Adie (Washington, NJ), CJ Harris (Annapolis, MD), and Jasmine Kline (Gettysburg, PA).
- The Bobcats return 16 players from last year's team.
- Mary Fogg returns after a standout All-MAAC Second Team season, leading QU in various categories. Fogg was also named All-MAAC First Team and Rookie Team in 2023.
- Madison Waltke was named to the MAAC All-Rookie Team in 2025. Waltke finished conference play with the fourth best batting average on QU at .302 and the team-best OPS at .888.
- Junior catcher Riley Potter posted a 0.267 batting average, recording 31 hits and a team-high 10 doubles.
- QU is coming off its best MAAC record in the past eight seasons, finishing conference play at 14-11.
- Head Coach Hillary Smith enters her eighth season with the Bobcats after being named the eighth coach in program history.
- Assistant coach Xen Penny enters his first season with the Bobcats.
- QU Softball alum Hannah Davis also joins the coaching staff for her first season.
