Felicia Frank Named Semifinalist for Women’s Hockey Goalie of the Year Award

HAMDEN, Conn. – Sophomore goaltender Felicia Frank has been named a semifinalist for the 2026 Women's Hockey Goalie of the Year Award, as announced by the Women's Hockey Commissioners Association.
The award recognizes the top goaltender in NCAA Division I women's ice hockey. Frank is one of 12 semifinalists, including four others from the ECAC, who have advanced from an initial Watch List of 31 standout goaltenders representing four Division I conferences.
Frank's selection marks her first career appearance on the Goalie of the Year Award semifinalist list.
Frank has been instrumental in net for Quinnipiac this season, appearing in all 30 games and making 29 starts. She owns a 21-7-3 record with eight shutouts, a 1.36 goals-against average, and a .945 save percentage, while logging 1,852:39 minutes and recording 725 saves.
The sophomore ranks second nationally in wins (21) and shutouts (8), while placing third in goals-against average (1.36) and fourth in save percentage (.945) among goaltenders with at least 14 games played.
Frank recorded a career-high 39 saves in a 4-0 shutout win over Cornell on Jan. 24 and is tied for fourth all-time in Quinnipiac D1 history in both single-season wins and single-season shutouts.
Throughout the season, Frank has earned ECAC Goaltender of the Week honors on four occasions (Sept. 30-Oct. 14, Nov. 11, and Jan. 27), highlighting her consistency and impact for the Bobcats.
Three finalists will be announced during the conference championships and the winner will be announced during this year's NCAA Frozen Four in Minneapolis, MN.
