Quinnipiac Drops Road Contest vs. Vermont

BURLINGTON, Vermont – Quinnipiac men's lacrosse dropped a non-conference matchup, 15-8, against UVM on Saturday from Virtue Field.
Junior Cole Marsala led the Bobcats with three goals – his second hat trick of the season.
Jake Gallose, Nate Watson, Nick Meoni, Ethan McGerald and Chase Young all chipped in with a goal.
Zack Toll led Vermont with an eight-point day (three goals, five assists), while Max Frattaroli scored four times for the Catamounts.

GAME REWIND
Vermont scored the first three goals of the game, then Nate Watson got the Bobcats on the board less than two minutes into the second quarter to make it 3-1. UVM would build its lead to 7-3 entering halftime. Cole Marsala and Chase Young scored the other two first-half goals for the Bobcats.
UVM went on another 3-0 to begin the third quarter of action, extending the lead to 10-3. Quinnipiac and Vermont played to a 4-4 fourth quarter in Burlington, as Nick Meoni, Ethan McGerald, Jake Gallose and Cole Marsala all found the back of the cage for QU over the final 15 minutes.
