Men's Soccer Takes Home 2 MAAC Weekly Awards

HAMDEN, Conn. – Quinnipiac Men's Soccer took home two MAAC weekly awards, as revealed by the league office on Sept. 29, 2025.
William Holum has been named MAAC Offensive Player of the Week, and goalkeeper Nickolas Cardona has earned Defensive Player of the Year honors.
Holum scored twice in Quinnipiac's MAAC victory over Saint Peter's on Saturday in Hamden. The sophomore scored once in the first half (10:12) and once in the second half of action (63:57), giving him three goals for the 2025 campaign.
Cardona recorded two consecutive clean sheets for the Bobcats this past week in a pair of QU wins over New Haven and Saint Peter's. He made four saves combined over the two victories.
The Bobcats are 3-5-1 so far this season, going 1-1 in a pair of MAAC games. Quinnipiac has won two consecutive home contests over the past week.
Next up, QU will host Sacred Heart to continue MAAC play on Wednesday, October 1 from the Quinnipiac Soccer & Lacrosse Stadium. Game time is slated for 4:00 PM, and the contest will be streamed live on ESPN+.
