HOW IT HAPPENED
After two and a half scoreless innings, the Boston College Eagles broke the tie in the home half of the third inning, plating eight runs. The Eagles scored four runs with one out in the inning, before tacking on another four runs with two outs.
The Eagles extended their lead in the fourth inning with two runs. After an RBI groundout, the Eagles hit a home run to left field to make it a 10-0 game.
Boston College would make it a 12-run game with another two runs in the fifth inning. The Bobcats would get on the board in the sixth inning as Christian Smith doubled into the right-center field gap to score CJ Willis.
BC responded with three runs in their half of the sixth inning to make it a 15-1 game. CJ Willis brought home QU's second run of the game on an RBI single to right field as Cole Constable crossed home plate.
The Eagles finished off the seventh inning to earn the win over the Bobcats.
NEWS AND NOTES
- Five Bobcats recorded at least one hit against BC, and three of those five recorded two hits in the loss.
- Christian Smith and CJ Willis each drove in a run, pushing their season RBI totals to 46.
- Willis went 2-for-3 at the plate and raised his batting average to .343 on the season.
- Smith also went 2-for-3 and pushed his batting average to .352, which leads the team.
- Cole Constable returned to the lineup and racked up two hits in the loss.
- Sebastian Mueller picked up a hit to extend his hit streak to seven.
- Sean McCulloch extended his on-base streak to 36 games and has reached base safely in 36 of 37 games he has played this season.

- The Bobcats will return to MAAC play on Friday, April 25th, as they open a three-game series against the Fairfield Stags.
