Reyes to Join Reales De La Vega in the Dominican Republic for Upcoming Season
La Vega, DOMINICAN REPUBLIC – Quinnipiac men's basketball forward Alexis Reyes has been selected with the seventh overall pick in the 2025 Liga Nacional de Baloncesto (LNB) Draft. He will join Reales De La Vega in the Dominican Republic for the upcoming campaign.
Reyes – a 6-foot-7 forward – played in 91 games (47 starts) over the past three seasons at Quinnipiac. The Roxbury, Massachusetts-native spent his freshman campaign at East Carolina University in 2022-23 before transferring to QU.
He poured in 522 points during his time in Hamden, while also grabbing 331 rebounds and dishing out 120 assists. Reyes averaged 7.8 PPG & 4.2 RPG in 2023-24, then posted 5.9 PPG & 4.5 for Quinnipiac this past season in 2024-25.
Reyes scored 10+ points 15 different times during his collegiate career. He helped lead the Bobcats to back-to-back regular season MAAC titles, and back-to-back 20 win seasons.
