HAMDEN, Conn. – The Quinnipiac men's basketball program and Head Coach Tom Pecora announced today (Saturday, May 2, 2026) the signing of forward Ali Diouf.
Diouf – a 6-foot-9 big man from Longueuil, Quebec – will join the Bobcats as a first-year player in 2026-27.
"We are thrilled to welcome Ali Diouf to our program," said Head Coach Tom Pecora. "His ability to protect the rim and his inside-and-out offensive game makes Ali an immediate asset to our group as we continue to compete for championships."
Diouf joins the Bobcats following an impressive tenure at Edouard Montpetit High School in Canada. Known for his dominance on both ends of the floor, Diouf led his high school squad in both scoring and rebounding during 2025-26.
Diouf's senior campaign was defined by consistency and high-impact performances. He averaged 12.6 points and 9.6 rebounds per game, shooting 45.8% from the floor for Edouard Montpetit.
His defensive instincts were a primary catalyst for his team's success, as well, highlighted by his ability to alter shots and control the glass. Diouf averaged 3.3 blocks per contest in 2025-26 at Edouard Montpetit High School.
He is the fifth addition to the Bobcats' roster heading into the 2026-27 campaign. The Bobcats have also added Malik Fields, Tayeshawn Cunningham-Pemberton, Nas Hart and Lucas Sekasi.
