Women's Lacrosse Set for Senior Day Matchup with Rider

HAMDEN, Conn. — The Quinnipiac women's lacrosse team celebrates Senior Day on Saturday, welcoming MAAC newcomer Rider to Hamden for a Noon first draw at the Quinnipiac Lacrosse Stadium.

LAST TIME OUT
It was a rain-drenched affair on Wednesday in Riverdale, as Manhattan knocked off the Bobcats 7-4 at a soaked Gaelic Park. EllaGrace Delmond and Abby Wise each scored a pair of goals but the visitors could not erase a five-goal run from Manhattan that allowed the hosts to take control in the first half.
IN THE RANKINGS: Quinnipiac
The Bobcats are currently third in the MAAC in both free-position percentage and fewest turnovers per game. They convert on .469 percent of eight-meter attempts while turning the ball over just 13.80 times per game. Those numbers are also 33rd and 39th nationally, respectively.
Delmond is one of the most efficient in the eight-meter shot, converting on .769 percent of shots and scoring 1.1 free-position goals per game. Those numbers are good for seventh and ninth in the country, respectively. Melissa Murphy averages 1.78 caused turnovers per game, which is good for sixth in the MAAC and 29th in the country.
