Quinnipiac Rounds Out Regular Season at Niagara

HAMDEN, Conn. — The Quinnipiac women's lacrosse team hits the field one more time in the regular season on Sunday afternoon, taking on Niagara in Western New York.
The Bobcats are making their second trip up to Buffalo in a month this season after taking on Canisius on March 22.

Teams: Quinnipiac (2-12, 1-7 MAAC) vs. Niagara (13-3, 6-2 MAAC)

LAST TIME OUT
The Bobcats started fast in scoring four of the first six goals of the contest, but Siena would power back to take a 15-12 victory in the final home game for Quinnipiac on Wednesday afternoon at the Quinnipiac Lacrosse Stadium.
EllaGrace Delmond led the Bobcat attack with a five-point day, while Angelina Sparacio also added four goals to aid the attack. Amy Nicoloff recorded a pair of ground balls, three caused turnovers and four draw controls in a balanced night.
Bridget Clarke made her Bobcat debut, making four saves on nine shots on her cage in 22:29 of action.
IN THE RANKINGS: Quinnipiac
The Bobcats are currently third in the MAAC and 22nd nationally in caused turnovers per contest, forcing ten per game. They are less than one turnover from the top spot, currently held by Niagara at 10.81 per contest. Quinnipiac is also fourth in the MAAC in fewest turnovers per game, coughing the ball up 14.64 times per game.
EllaGrace Delmond is one of the most prolific from the eight-meter, scoring 0.86 free-position goals per game. That number is second in the MAAC and 28th nationally. Melissa Murphy forces 1.79 turnovers per game, which is fifth in the conference.
