Quinnipiac Suffers Home Defeat to Siena

HAMDEN, Conn. — The Quinnipiac women's lacrosse team fell in its home regular season on Wednesday afternoon, dropping a 15-12 decision to Siena at the Quinnipiac Lacrosse Stadium.
EllaGrace Delmond, Lauren Kenny and Angelina Sparacio all had hat tricks, while graduate Amy Nicoloff led the squad with three caused turnovers and four draw controls.
The Bobcats jumped out to an early advantage, scoring four of the six goals with a pair coming from Kenny at the end of the frame.
Siena took control in the second, scoring six of the seven tallies in the frame to go up three at the break.
The hosts cut the deficit down to one, with Sparacio scoring with 6:24 to go to make it 13-12, but could not get the tying goal.
STATS AND NOTES
The Bobcats close out their campaign on Sunday, taking on Niagara at 1 p.m. in Western New York.

- Sparacio recorded her fifth hat trick of the season and first since March 22 against Canisius.
- Delmond added her second consecutive four-goal outing, totaling 22 goals over her last six contests.
- Kenny's three-goal performance made it four games in a row with a goal, totaling 12 in that span.
- Nicoloff matched her career best with three caused turnovers, a 2024-best and the most since she had three against Iona on April 19.
- Corinna Lyon's three ground balls were tied for her season-best, last done against Monmouth on March 2.
- Abby Wise extended her points streak to 11 games with a pair of assists. She has recorded multiple points in seven consecutive.
