
Quinnipiac Set to Face Iona Saturday

HAMDEN, Conn. — The Quinnipiac women's lacrosse team heads down the homestretch with three games left in the regular season and two are in Hamden, starting Saturday when the Bobcats take on Iona at 3 p.m., at the Quinnipiac Lacrosse Stadium.
The Bobcats currently stand one games out of the last playoff spot in the league with three to play as they chase a quarterfinal place in the MAAC playoffs.
THE MATCHUP
Teams: Quinnipiac (2-10, 1-5 MAAC) vs. Iona (9-4, 4-2 MAAC)

LAST TIME OUT
Lauren Kenny and Cate Bendowski each scored a pair of goals, while Abby Wise dished four assists, but the Bobcats fell to Fairfield in an in-state matchup on Wednesday afternoon.
The Stags scored five of the first six goals and Quinnipiac could not catch up as the hosts pulled away. Lindsay Mazzucco stopped 10 of 22 shots on her cage.
