FAIRFIELD, Conn. — The Quinnipiac women's lacrosse team fell to Fairfield on Wednesday afternoon, dropping the in-state matchup 17-5 against the Stags.

Cate Bendowski and Lauren Kenny each scored a pair of goals but the Fairfield attack proved to be too much for the Bobcats.

Lindsay Mazzucco stop 10 of 22 shots on her cage in 43:44 of action.

STATS AND NOTES

Bendowski recorded her fourth, multi-goal game of the season and seventh performance of two or more points. She's recorded four of those in the last five contests.
Kenny has scored seven her last two contests and has scored goals in six of her last seven appearances.
Abby Wise dished four assists, a season-best and her fifth straight game with multiple points. It's her ninth straight game with an offensive point contribution.
Her assist total is the most by a Bobcat since Gabby Beckett dished six helpers in a win over Manhattan on April 11, 2021.
