The Bobcats will go to 5-8 to start the 2024 season, while CCSU will fall to 2-5 in the campaign.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Kyle Garbowski got the scoring started in the first inning as he doubled to left field to score Jared Zimbardo and take an early 1-0 lead.
The CCSU Blue Devils struck for three runs in the third inning. An RBI double brought home their first run of the contest before scoring another run on a groundout and a single to center field.
Keegan O'Connor would tie the game up at three in the fifth as he scored two runners with a single through the left side of the infield.

With two runners on, Sean Swenson stepped up to the plate and blasted a three-run homer to give the Bobcats a 6-3 lead.

Keegan O'Connor would strike again in the sixth as he singled home Matt DeRosa to extend the lead to four. A wild pitch from CCSU would allow CJ Willis to score and give Quinnipiac a five-run lead in the sixth inning.
In the top of the seventh, CCSU would get two runs back on a two-run home run and bring them within three.
The Blue Devils would get two more runs in the ninth with a two-run single through the left side, but that's where their comeback would end as the Bobcats would hold on to win 8-7.

- Seven different Bobcats recorded hits against the Blue Hens.
- Keegan O'Connor went 2-for-5 and drove in three runs to lead the team.
