
Bobcats in the Pros Update (via Eurobasket)

We bring you last week's top former Quinnipiac men's basketball players who are currently playing in pro basketball. (Courtesy of Eurobasket LLC)
#1. Kevin Marfo (6'9''-PF-1997, played in 2021-22, plays pro in Denmark) led Svendborg to a victory against the closely-ranked Randers (10-7) 88-84 in the Danish BasketLigaen in Monday night's game. He had a double-double by scoring 14 points and getting 17 rebounds. Marfo also added 4 assists in 29 minutes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only his second season in pro basketball. Svendborg Rabbits (14-3) is placed second in the BasketLigaen. There are only three games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. It's Marfo's first year with the team. Marfo has individually a very good season with high stats. He averages 22.5ppg, 19.0rpg and 2.0apg in two games he played so far. Marfo is a naturalized Ghanian.
#2. Tyrese Williams (6'3''-G, played in 2018-23, plays in North Macedonia) led Gostivar to a victory over one of league's weakest teams Ohrid AV (3-12) crushing them 108-86 in the North Macedonian Prva Liga last Saturday. He was MVP of the game. Williams recorded a double-double by scoring 29 points and getting 11 rebounds. He also added 4 assists and 4 steals; not bad, considering it's only Williams' first season in pro basketball. KK Gostivar (5-10) is placed eighth in the Prva Liga. It was his team's first victory after six consecutive loses. This season Williams has very high stats. He averages 17.3ppg, 5.6rpg, 2.5apg and 1.7spg. Worth to mention Williams played also at Eurobasket Summer League, which helped him get the job in pro basketball.
#3. Experienced James Feldeine (6'4''-C-1988, played in 2006-10, currently in Israel), who plays in the Israeli Winner League could not help Hapoel Nofar Energy Galil Elion in their last game. Despite his good performance his team lost 77-89 on the road to the second-ranked Ramat Gan. Feldeine scored 11 points and added 3 passes in 35 minutes. It's Feldeine's first season with the team. He has relatively good stats this year 14.5ppg, 4.5rpg, 3.8apg and 1.5spg in 11 games. Feldeine is a naturalized Dominican.
#4. Ike Nweke (6'7''-F/C-2000, played in 2022-23, plays pro in Holland) was not able to help Yoast United in their game against Leeuwarden (3-10) in the BNXT League. Despite his very good performance in Sunday night's game Nweke recorded a double-double by scoring 20 points and getting 10 rebounds. There are only two games left until the end of the BNXT League Regular Season. So now every game is very crucial. This season Nweke has very high stats. He averages 17.0ppg and 6.6rpg.
#5. Cameron Young (6'5''-G-1996, played in 2016-19, plays in Russia) contributed to a Runa Basket's victory against the closely-ranked Astana (10-16) 80-67 in the VTB United League last Sunday. He scored 11 points in 22 minutes. Runa Basket Moscow (11-14) is placed ninth in group A. Young's team will play only one more game in the VTB United League Regular Season. And now that game is quite important. It's Young's first season with the team. He has relatively good stats this year 13.4ppg, 1.8rpg and 1.3apg in eight games.
#6. Aaron Falzon (6'8''-F-1996, played in 2019-20, currently in Japan) was the major contributor in Tachikawa's victory against the 13th-ranked Pats Five 81-78 in the Japanese B3 League on Saturday night. He recorded 17 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists. Falzon has relatively good stats this season 11.0ppg, 6.5rpg and 2.5apg. He is a naturalized Maltese.
