No. 7 Bobcats Get By Dartmouth in Overtime

HANOVER, N.H. — The No. 7 Quinnipiac women's ice hockey team came back to defeat Dartmouth 2-1 in overtime on Friday evening.
Neither team got much going in the first two periods, with the Bobcats leading in shots 20-9 going into the third.
Dartmouth scored six minutes into the third frame, taking a 1-0 lead.
QU took a timeout and pulled Kaley Doyle with 4:15 to go, leading to the Bobcats game-tying goal on tip in from Laurence Frenette off a Makayla Watson shot.
The Bobcats held onto force overtime and Jenna Donohue scored 43 seconds into OT to secure the win.

The Bobcats are headed down to Cambridge, Mass. to take on Harvard tomorrow at 5:00 PM.

- Jenna Donohue scored her fourth goal of the season and dished an assist.
- It was her fourth multi-point game of the year and 11th of her career.
- Donohue has notched multiple points in back-to-back games.
- Kendall Cooper notched an assist on the game-winner for 100th career point.
- Cooper becomes the ninth player in program history to reach the milestone.
- Makayla Watson dished her sixth assist of the season, she now is third on the Bobcats in assists.
- Sophie Urban went 9-3 on the faceoff dot.
