Cooper Leads No. 7 Bobcats Over Harvard

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. — The No. 7 Quinnipiac women's ice hockey team defeated Harvard 1-0 on Saturday evening.
Despite the Bobcats dominating in shots 26-9 after two periods, the score remained even at zero.
Kendall Cooper broke the scoreless tie just 22 seconds into the period, pushing in a loose puck in front.
Kaley Doyle kept Harvard scoreless the rest of the period to secure the win.
STATS AND NOTES
The Bobcats will play at LIU on Tuesday afternoon at Northwell Health Ice Center in East Meadow, N.Y., the game will begin at 2:00 PM and will be streamed on ESPN+.

- Kendall Cooper scored her fourth goal of the season and 30th goal of her career.
- Maddy Samoskevich and Kahlen Lamarche each had an assist.
- Lamarche now leads the Bobcats in assists with eight on the season.
- Kaley Doyle made 15 saves for her fifth shutout of the season.
- Doyle is now tied for the national lead in shutouts.
- Sophie Urban won nine faceoffs.
