Kevin Marfo ('22) Signs Pro Deal in France

HAMDEN, Conn. – Former Quinnipiac men's basketball forward Kevin Marfo has signed his second professional contract with Etoile Angers Basket in France.
Marfo – the nation's leading rebounder in 2019-20 (13.3 RPG) – will join EAB for the upcoming 2023-24 season.
The two-time All-MAAC Second Team selection finished his Quinnipiac career averaging 8.5 PPG & 10.5 RPG. Marfo averaged 10.2 PPG to go along with a nation-best 13. RPG in 2019-20, transferred to Texas A&M in 2020-21, then returned to the Bobcats for his graduate season in 2021-22 and posted 9.4 PPG and 19.2 RPG.
Marfo's 13.3 rebounds per game (400 total rebounds over 30 games) in 2019-20 marks the highest RPG total of any Bobcat in program history.
He signed his first professional contract last season with Moncada Energy Agrigento in Italy, where he posted 14.0 PPG & 8.1 RPG over 23 contests. Marfo grabbed 70 offensive rebounds during his first professional season.
