
Bobcats Comeback Falls Short At Siena

LOUDONVILLE, N.Y. – The Quinnipiac women's lacrosse team's comeback fell short to the Siena Saints on Wednesday afternoon.
The Bobcats outscored Siena 5-3 in the third quarter, and 5-2 in the fourth quarter of play.
After a slow start, Quinnipiac found themselves down 13-5 at the end of the first half. Emily Feeney recorded her third goal of the game to bring the Bobcats within six.
Siena would head into the fourth quarter with a 16-10 lead.
Quinnipiac then scored five goals in the fourth quarter, as their comeback fell just short, losing to the Saints by the final of 18-15.
STATS AND NOTES
The Bobcats return to Hamden on Saturday afternoon, hosting Canisius for Senior Day at 12 p.m., at the QU Lacrosse Stadium.

STATS AND NOTES
- Emily Feeney had the team-high in points (4), her third game this season recording four points. Feeney also recorded her second hat-trick of the season (3/18 at Villanova) and fifth of her collegiate career.
- Mia Delmond notched her seventh multi-goal game of the season coming off being named the MAAC Rookie of the Week.
- EllaGrace Delmond tallied her second hat-trick of the season (2/15 vs Sacred Heart).
- Maddie Deegan and Sophie Spencer both notched two goals in the defeat. Deegan led the Bobcats with four GBs and three draw controls.
- Maddie Deegan tied her career high in ground balls. She also scooped up four GBs on April 20, 2022 in a matchup at Iona.
