Bobcats Drop Midweek Contest at Fairfield

With the loss, the Bobcats dropped to 11-18 overall on the season and 5-5 in the MAAC, while the Stags improved to 18-12 on the 2023 campaign and 8-2 in the MAAC with the victory.

HOW IT HAPPENED
After a scoreless first inning, Fairfield got on the board with five runs in the second. The Bobcats responded with two runs in the third as Anthony Donofrio lined a two-run triple to right-center to cut the deficit to 5-2. However, Fairfield came back with three more runs in the third to extend the lead to 8-2.
The deficit proved to be too much for Quinnipiac, as they eventually fell 13-3.

- The Bobcats will be back on Friday, April 14, when QU returns home to take on MAAC foe Iona
