Bobcats Hit Road for First Time in 2023 Wednesday

HAMDEN, Conn. — The Quinnipiac University women's lacrosse team heads out of the friendly confines of Hamden for the first time on Wednesday afternoon, battling UMass Lowell in a 1 p.m., matinee matchup in Lowell, Mass.
The Bobcats have dropped two straight after its opening-day victory against Sacred Heart and look to get back on track as the calendar turns to March.

The Bobcats were able to cut a four-goal deficit to one in the second half against No. 21 Yale last Wednesday but ran out of gas as the Bulldogs knocked off the Bobcats 14-5 at the QU Soccer and Lacrosse Stadium. Kat Henselder made 11 saves between the pipes, while Desiree Kleberg and Emily Feeney each recorded multi-point afternoons with a pair of assists.
