Former QU Defender Begins Second Stint with T6
TORONTO – Former Quinnipiac women's ice hockey standout defender Emma Greco ('17) has signed a contract with the Toronto Six of the Premier Hockey Federation, as announced by the program on July 20.
Greco joins Toronto's blue line ahead of the 2022-23 campaign. This is her second stint with the team, as she also was a part of Toronto's inaugural 2020-21 season.
Greco was among the franchise's first leadership group in '20-21, serving as an alternate captain. She helped guide Toronto to its first regular season title in franchise history.
The Burlington, Ontario-native played in 144 total games with Quinnipiac women's ice hockey (2013-17), compiling 25 points. In her junior campaign, she led all Quinnipiac defenders with 62 shots on goal and was recognized as a selectee to the ECAC Hockey All-Tournament Team. Shining on both ends of the ice as a senior, Greco led the team in blocked shots (72), while putting up career-best offensive totals (10 points) over 37 games.

Greco then used a fifth year at Quinnipiac to play for the Bobcats' women's soccer team, appearing in 15 games (14 starts) in 2017. Greco logged over 1,000 minutes on the pitch as a member of the Bobcats' defense.
She played her first professional hockey season with the Connecticut Whale in 2017-18, competing in six contests during the second half of the year. Greco then spent time in the CWHL in 2018-19 as a member of the Toronto Furies.
