CAMBRIDGE, Mass.-- Quinnipiac women's ice hockey opened up ECAC Hockey play and defeated Harvard, 5-2 on the road to go 7-0-0, 1-0-0 on the season at Bright-Landry Hockey Center. Graduate Captain Lexie Adzija recorded her 100th career point and has officially been inducted into the 100 point club at Quinnipiac.

Adzija tallied two goals, Veronica Bac, Madison Chantler, and Shay Maloney each recorded a goal and Jess Schryver notched two assists. 11 Bobcats recorded at least one point in the victory over Harvard.

(2:35, 1st period, EV) Quinnipiac 1, Harvard 0: Graduate Captain Lexie Adzija recorded her 100th career point as she buried the Jess Schryver's rebound five hole on Crimson netminder Alex Pellicci.
(6:32, 1st period, EV) Quinnipiac 2, Harvard 0: Veronica Bac tallied her first goal of the season firing a drop pass from Alex Hoskin just under the right arm of Pellicci to give the Bobcats an early 2-0 lead.
(7:40, 1st period, EV) Quinnipiac 3, Harvard 0: Madison Chantler joined in on scoring when she hit the back of the net just a minute and eight seconds after Bac, going top shelf over the glove side of Pellicci in front.
(15:30, 1st period, EV) Quinnipiac 3, Harvard 1: Harvard got on the board when Kristin Della Rovere beat Logan Angers to cut the Bobcat lead to 3-1.
(18:12, 2nd period, EV) Quinnipiac 4, Harvard 1: Graduate transfer Shay Maloney notched her fourth goal of the season when she and Olivia Mobley completed a perfect 2-on-1 to beat a sliding Pellicci over the blocker side.
(13:13, 3rd period, EV) Quinnipiac 5, Harvard 1: Lexie Adzija didn't want to settle for just her 100th point, she buried her 101st point when she once again beat a diving Pellicci on a rebound from Schryver.
(14:42, 3rd period, EV) Quinnipiac 5, Harvard 2: Crimson's Anne Bloomer beat Angers one last time before the clock expired with help from Eleanor Winges and Rose O'Connor to bring the final score to 5-2 Bobcats.

NOTES

Adzija officially became inducted into the 100 point club with two goals against Harvard.
Bac recorded her first goal of the season and three other Bobcats tallied goals on the night.
This marks Quinnipiac's fourth game scoring 5 or more goals and still have not allowed opponents to score more than 2 goals in a single game.
Jess Schryver recorded two assists and 11 Bobcats posted points against Harvard.
Neither the Bobcats nor the Crimson took a single penalty in tonight's contest.
Quinnipiac outshot Harvard 52-23 throughout the contest and went 32-25 in the faceoff circle.
Netminder Logan Angers made 21 saves.
