Peralta Sits in Second After Day One At Delaware Invitational

REHOBOTH BEACH, Del. – Quinnipiac women's golf sits in seventh place out of 12 teams after two rounds of 18 holes at the Delaware Invitational on Saturday, October 15th.
QU ended the first day of the tournament in seventh place among 12 teams after shooting 611 (+35) after the opening rounds at the classic. Dartmouth College leads the field after shooting 589 (+13) on day one.
Leeyen Peralta leads the Bobcats after 36 holes after shooting 142 (-2) and sits in second place overall. Peralta sits just one stroke behind the current leader, Sophie Thai of Dartmouth College.
Kaylee Sakoda sits in a tie for 18th place after she shot a 75 in round one and a 76 in round two, for a total of 151 (+7). Fuge Zhang shot a 160 (+16) after rounds one and two, which has her sitting in a tie for 53rd place.
Meg Yoshida and Aimee Uchida round out Quinnipiac's grouping as they sit in a tie for 64th and 66th place, respectively. Yoshida carded a +20 (164) after two rounds and Uchida shot a +22 (166) to round out day one at the Delaware Invitational.
The Bobcats will be back in action on Sunday, Oct.16, when they close play at the Delaware Invitational.
