Ann Arbor, MI. – The Quinnipiac women's golf team closed out play at the Ann Arbor Regional with their best round of the regional, shooting a 305 (+21) in the final round. The Bobcats finished the tournament with a total score of 924 (+72), which is their best score in an NCAA Regional in program history.

Sophia Fujita finished as Quinnipiac's highest finisher with a three-day total of 222 (+9), besting her regional performance from last season. Fujita shot a 74 (+3) on the final day to close out her second NCAA Regional appearance.

In her first NCAA appearance, Natalie Spiska finished with a tournament total score of 231 (+18), which was good for second on the Bobcats. Spiska shot a 79 in the final round of the tournament on Wednesday.

Samantha Galantini finished her second NCAA Regional appearance with a three-round total of 234 (+21), which bested her regional performance from last season by three strokes. Galantini saved her best round of the regional for last, shooting a 74 (+3) on Wednesday.

Vaidehi Shah closed out the Ann Arbor Regional with a 78 (+7) in the final round, giving her a tournament total of 238 (+25). Shah improved on her first NCAA Regional appearance by three strokes (241, +25), which was set last season in the Gold Canyon Regional.

Marisa Flores rounded out the Quinnipiac grouping with a tournament total score of 245 (+32). Flores closed out her second NCAA Regional appearance with an 82 (+11) in the final round at the University of Michigan Golf Course.

SCORES AND NOTES

Quinnipiac closed out the NCAA Regional with a total score of 924 (+72), which is its best NCAA Regional performance in program history.
Sophia Fujita had the best round of any Bobcat in the Regional as she shot a 72 (+1) in round two on Tuesday.
Natalie Spiska's best round of the tournament came on day one as she carded a 73 (+2) to open the NCAA Regional.
Samantha Galantini's best round came on the final day as she shot a 74 (+3) on Wednesday.
Vaidehi Shah's best rounds of the tournament came in the first and final rounds with a score of 78 (+7).
Marisa Flores had her best round on day two of the regional, shooting an 81 (+10) in the second round of the Ann Arbor Regional.
